Fort Chadbourne

This fort was established in 1852 and named for 2nd Lt. Theodore Lincoln Chadbourne. The post was abandoned in 1867. The visitor center/museum displays many artifacts from the site.

The site is open daily during daylight hours. Visitor center is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Tue.-Sat.
