Features items from area pioneers, plus exhibits about Fort Tenoxtitln, established by Mexico in 1830 to promote Mexican settlement and thwart Anglo-American colonists. The Mexican commander eventually sided with the Texans and was a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence.
