History Boat Tours on Buffalo Bayou

Local historian and author Louis Aulbach will share stories of the Allen brothers, the founders of Houston, and provide historical information about places, people, animals and events along the bayou west and east of downtown, including which families were first to settle in Houston, the first breweries of Buffalo Bayou and early wildlife sightings. Hours are 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Reservations required. Meet at Allen's Landing, 1001 Commerce St. For more information, call ext. 4. E-mail: jballard@buffalobayou.org
