Winedale Historical Center

Restored 19th-century (early German) farmstead with plantation homes, log cabins, fireplace kitchen, smokehouse and barns. Also a center for study of ethnic cultures of Central Texas, operated by University of Texas at Austin. Open 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Sat. and noon–5 p.m. Sun. Group tours offered 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Mon.–Fri.
