Local artists provide free glassblowing demonstrations complete with information on the history of glass. Open daily 10 a.m.–5 p.m. with glass-blowing demonstrations Thu.–Mon.; closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, New Year's Day and Easter ; tour buses welcomed by appointment. Seven miles south of Wimberley's Village Square at 6469 R.M. 12. 800/929-6686.

Tour the plant where Dr Pepper is still made the original way—with pure cane sugar. Then visit the museum and restored soda fountain for a DP frosty. The museum features memorabilia and stories of the history of the bottling company, which opened in 1891.
