Photographer: Stan A. Williams

White-Pool House

This is the oldest existing residential structure in Odessa. It is a two-story brick home constructed in 1887. It has period furnishings from the original and last owners and reflects lifestyles of the 1880s ranching period and the 1920s oil era. Frequently changing exhibits provide opportunities to view and learn about the community in different eras. The house is on the National Historic Register. Open 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Wed.–Sat. and by appointment. Donations accepted. 112 E. Murphy St. 432/333-4072.
