The collection features photos and memorabilia from early stockyard days,
including sections on the Swift and Armour packing companies. A small railroad
display shows connections with the stockyard. Women's area features the crown
and scepter of the 1920 Stock Show Queen and a quilt made from satin costumes
that female performers wore in the 1936 Centennial show at the old outdoor Casa
Manana Theater. Sesquicentennial artifacts, collected by wagon train through
Texas in 1986, also are featured. Open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Mon.–Sat. Free. but
