This 52-acre park is an archeological site, an archaic wetlands and a desert
botanical garden. Middle Archaic ruins on site are more than 4,500 years old.
The park is visited by more than 200 bird species migrating to Central and South
America. The Audubon Society has documented 201 bird species at the park. Open
