The South Texas Museum

Small museum focuses on the distinctive history and traditions of this South Texas region. Exhibits trace habitation from Native American to 20th-century farm, ranch, railroad and oil activities, with an emphasis on pioneer ranch and household artifacts. This 300-acre park is set on a rolling, wooded site less than four miles from Bonham. Individual and group camping facilities are available, as well as a small lake for fishing, swimming and boating.
