The center is home to Center Stages Theater, Brazosport Art League, the
Brazosport Museum of Natural Science and Brazosport Planetarium.
The art gallery features changing exhibits, and the art studio provides
classes and workshops by local, regional and nationally recognized artists. The
theater produces plays and musicals, and it sponsors the Brazosport Symphony
Orchestra.
Wildlife, fossils, rocks, minerals and aquarium are features of the Museum of
Natural Science. It also has one of the largest shell collections on display in
the South and is the home of the Lightning Whelk—the state shell of Texas. The
planetarium produces shows for the general public and provides training for NASA
astronauts from the nearby Johnson Space Center.
The Museum and Gallery are open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Tue.–Sat. and 2–5 p.m. Sun.
