Home to the Shiner family beers, this is the oldest independent brewery in
Texas. It has been making beer since 1909. Even with a recent expansion that
tripled brewing capacity, it is still one of the smallest breweries in the
state. Brewery tours are 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Mon.–Fri., with additional tours
Memorial Day–Labor Day at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. After the tour, visitors are
invited to the hospitality suite. Gift shop. 603 E. Brewery St. (Texas 95).
