Designed by O'Neil Ford, the chapel was completed in 1939. First Lady Eleanor
Roosevelt attended the dedication ceremonies. The small chapel blends nature and
art in a wooded setting on the Texas Woman's University campus. Ten stained
glass windows, designed by students, depict the theme "Woman Ministering to
Human Needs." Open 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Mon.–Fri. 415 Chapel Drive, on Texas Woman's
University campus. 940/898-3644. www.twu.edu/tour/little_chapel.asp.
