This Greek Revival structure, a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, was built
in the mid-1880s by Judge Reuben Reeves. It was sold to Col. George Robert
Howard in 1850 and remained with the Howard family until it was sold to the city
in 1963. The museum contains period furnishings and exhibits. Open noon–5 p.m.
