This museum explores Texas and its people during wartime and how those
experiences affect life today. The collection includes artifacts and exhibits
ranging from Texas Independence through the Iraq War. In front is a memorial to
native Texan recipients of the Medal of Honor. The Historical Research Center
houses books, artwork and original documents on the Civil War. 112 Lamar Drive,
