More than 3,500 animals of 750 different species are found in one of the
premier zoos in North America. This American Zoo and Aquarium
Association-accredited zoo, established in 1914, is the first zoo outside of
Africa to produce a white rhino calf. Wheelchair access, restaurant and gift
shop are available. Open 9 a.m.–5 p.m. daily and until 6 p.m. during the summer.
