Located on 226 acres, this racetrack opened for live racing in 1995. Features
quarter horse and thoroughbred races. Grandstand has both open-air and
air-conditioned levels with food courts, restaurants and bars. Retama Park is
South Texas' only Class-A horsetrack. Opens at 10:30 a.m. daily. Post time for
races is 6:45 p.m. Admission charge. 1 Retama Parkway. Exit 174-A off I-35.
