This preserve covers 100 acres of virgin tall-grass Blackland Prairie. It is
an excellent spot for those interested in birding, wildflowers or how the
North-Central Texas area looked to early settlers. Take U.S. 380 west to F.M.
203 and go north 2.1 miles, then turn west on C.R. 1116 and go 1.8 miles. A sign
at the northeast corner of C.R. 1116 and C.R. 1119 identifies the preserve.
Parking available along county roads.
