This world-class zoo covers 106 acres and features many rare and endangered
species. The latest addition, the 11-acre Giants of the Savanna exhibit, is home
to elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, ostriches and impalas. The zoo also
features a Gorilla Trail, Monorail safari in the Wilds of Africa area, an
endangered tiger habitat with Indochinese and Sumatran tigers, and a children's
zoo with interactive, educational exhibits. Open in summer 9 a.m.–5 p.m. daily.
