This is a replica of the cabin in which the peace treaty between Texas and
Mexico was drawn up after the Battle of San Jacinto. It was constructed in 1986,
using the building techniques of 1830, including hauling logs to site with horse
team. See authentic furnishings and the garden. Open 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Mon.–Fri.
