In the Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site, the museum is dedicated
to presenting the history of the Texas Republic through state-of-the-art
interactive exhibits, publications and media presentations. The renovated
10,000-square-foot exhibit space depicts all aspects of the Republic period,
including social life, agriculture, transportation, politics and military
affairs. The museum's research library is open to the public. Administered by
Blinn College. Open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. daily. Closed holidays. Call for special
