Natural history exhibits feature traditional and walk-in dioramas, including
a Texas limestone cave, a Texas forest and the Waco Mammoth Experience, where
visitors can walk on a glass floor over casts of skeletal remains of two of 24
mammoths found just miles from museum. Exploration stations on paleontology,
archeology, natural history and geology further enhance the experience. Also
included in complex are the Jeanes Discovery Center, SBC Theater and Traveling
Exhibit Gallery, Baylor University exhibit and museum store. Open 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Mon.–Sat. (open until 8 p.m. Thu.) and 1–5 p.m. Sun. Closed holidays. Admission
