Housed in the historic Yates Hotel (circa 1927) built by oil tycoon Ira
Yates, the museum features a restored lobby, original wicker furniture and
ceiling fan, pioneer artifacts, a meteorite believed to be a fragment of the one
whose crater can be seen between Odessa and Monahans, and restored 1940 Ford
fire truck. Open 2–5 p.m. Thu.–Fri. and 1–5 p.m. Sat. 101 W. Main St.
