At Texas State University-San Marcos, this literary/photographic center
inspires visitors with changing exhibitions related to Southwestern writers and
photography of the Southwest and Mexico, plus readings, book signings, artist
talks and more. Seven large gallery spaces include a permanent display of
costumes, props, set pieces and other memorabilia from Lonesome Dove. Exhibits
