Woodbine Hotel and Museum was built in 1904 as a hotel/boarding house by Jake
and Sarah Shapira. Completely restored and furnished, the building is a Recorded
Texas Historic Landmark and is listed in the National Register of Historic
Places. It is run as a bed-and-breakfast today. Tours are available unless a
