Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth

Kimbell Art Museum

Based on philanthropist Kay Kimbell's collection of 18th-century portraits and old masters, the multi-million-dollar collection now includes Michaelangelo's first painting and works from prehistory to Picasso. The innovative $6.5-million building of cycloid vaults by architect Louis Kahn provides unmatched lighting and displays for exhibits.
