This 60-foot replica stands on a 12-foot base in the 10-acre Henry William
Munson Park. It recognizes the importance of Brazoria County's history to Texas
and the shaping of the U.S. A Texas-shaped one-acre lake is the focal point for
the 900-foot "Walk of Honor," which pays tribute to residents who have made a
significant impact on the county since 1469. Just south of the Stephen F. Austin
Highway (Texas 35).
