Centers on an eight-room furnished pioneer home and store, built in 1849. The
site also features a wine cellar and stein-hof (stone yard), a Victorian-style
home, barn and blacksmith shop, smokehouse, an authentic Sunday House, log
cabin, wagon shed, one-room school house and a fire museum with early
Fredericksburg fire-fighting equipment. Open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Mon.–Sat. Closed
Mon. weekend after Labor Day–weekend before Memorial Day, except holidays.
