Growing from the 35-acre Greer Island Nature Center, the current 3,600-acre
refuge offers an interpretive center, hiking and self-guided nature trails.
Bison are often seen mingling with white-tailed deer. Open May–Sept.. 8 a.m.–7
p.m. Mon.–Fri. and 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Sat.–Sun., and Oct.–April 8 a.m.–5 p.m. daily.
