Dallas Arboretum

On the shores of White Rock Lake, just minutes from downtown, 66 acres of floral splendor afford a peaceful counterbalance to the pace of urban life. Also on grounds are two historical mansions, the DeGolyer House and the Camp Estate, which were built in 1939 and feature 17th- and 18th-century art and furniture. Open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. daily.
