On the banks of the Medina River, this site tells the story of Alsatian
settlement and early commerce and transportation in Texas. The restored 1850s
inn offers eight rooms for overnight lodging. The Texas Historical Commission
property offers daily tours of exhibits, historic structures and gristmill.
