This 55-acre city park attracts both nature lovers and anglers. A 720-foot
pier with 280-foot T-head over Corpus Christi Bay features some of the best
saltwater fishing in the Coastal Bend. Two raised boardwalks extend more than
1,000 feet into wetlands. It is home to 36 bird species, 33 sea creatures and 35
plant species—several listed as endangered. Includes a wade fishing area, picnic
area, concession building with restaurant, rest rooms, live bait and other
fishing necessities. Open 24 hours. Admission charge for pier; free use of park.
