Buescher State Park

This 1,730-acre site encompasses rolling, scenic country in the "Lost Pines" region, including groves of huge live oaks festooned with Spanish moss. Camping, shelters, trailer sites, picnicking, fishing on Lake Buescher, nature study and hiking are available. Admission and camping fees. Three miles north via Texas 71/95, F.M. 2104. The second-largest sports facility in the country offers dual banked turns, allowing the speedway to host both Indy-style racing and NASCAR Nextel Cup stock cars. It's so large that four Cowboys Stadiums could fit in the raceway's infield. The venue can seat more than 190,000 people and also includes 194 skybox VIP suites.
