This 32-acre Harris County park overlooks Galveston Bay. Recent renourishment
project resulted in lovely sandy beaches. The park also offers a fishing pier,
boat ramp, playground and picnic areas. Near the park entrance, a caboose and
depot from the old Houston-Galveston-San Antonio railroad serve as the showcase
museum for the La Porte-Bay Area Heritage Society's collection of memorabilia.
