This facility, a division of the Center for American History at the
University of Texas at Austin, contains exhibits that detail Sam Rayburn's life
and career. The collection includes photo, original letters, political cartoons,
art, furniture, an exact replica of the office he worked in as speaker of the
house, personal memorabilia and his personal library of books. Open 9 a.m.–5
p.m. Mon.–Fri. and 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Sat. On a 4.3-acre tract four blocks from
