The museum is housed in a restored 1886 home, built partly with timbers
salvaged from a home in Indianola destroyed by the hurricane of 1886. It
features period furnishings, documents, clothing, ranch and home articles, and a
restored log cabin. Special exhibits each month. Open 9 a.m.–noon and 1–4 p.m.
Wed.–Fri. and 2–5 p.m. Sun. The museum is open daily during Wildflower Month in
