Home built in 1883 by John M. Moore for his bride, Lottie Dyer. The
neoclassical home—built by architect Thomas Culshaw, a native of Liverpool,
England—was remodeled in 1905 from its original Victorian design. A tour is
available through the Fort Bend Museum. 500 Houston St., on grounds of Fort Bend
Museum.
