Port Of Galveston

As the first major port in Texas, it was a commercial link for the Texas Republic with rest of world. It is the nation's only port where all facilities are coordinated under one management and the only major U.S. port facility not supported by public funds. Visitors will be fascinated by the Fisherman's Wharf area. Includes fish markets, seafood restaurants and charter/group boat docks.
