This two-mile cave has been home of prehistoric cavemen, site of secret
gunpowder manufacture for Confederate armies, later an outlaw hideout. Cave
tours supplemented by nature trails and snack bar. Museum displays Native
American artifacts, frontier and Civil War items. Open daily except Christmas
Eve and Christmas. Admission charge. About 11 miles southwest via U.S. 281, Park
