Research facility with visitor center includes aquaria with Gulf marine life
and plants. The Institute hosts several Road Scholar groups throughout the year.
Center also has exhibits, poster displays and a gift shop. Open 8 a.m.–noon and
1–5 p.m. weekdays. Educational movies are shown at 3 p.m. Mon.–Thu. Explore the
Wetlands Education Center with free tours weekly featuring marsh/sea-grass
ponds. Along the ship channel at the northern end of Mustang Island. Main
