The city's finest collection of art objects, paintings and sculpture is
accredited by the American Association of Museums. Among the superb displays is
the Finnigan collection of ancient art from Egypt, Greece and Rome. The Straus
collection features Renaissance paintings and bronzes. Visitors also will find
Native American art of the Southwest; Frederic Remington's robust masterpieces;
native arts from Africa, Australia and South Pacific; and a special Junior
Gallery with changing exhibits that appeal to youngsters. Open 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
