The museum offers a wide variety of educational and entertainment options. It
features five galleries with world-class art exhibits. Children can learn as
they play in the Discovery Pavilion. Science On a Sphere is a state-of-the-art
tool that shows stunning images from the Hubble Space Telescope, orbital
satellites and other sources shown on a 3-D sphere that appears to be floating.
Rioscape is an outdoor playground that teaches children the journey of the Rio
Grande River, while the daily activities in the Art Studio and Science Lab make
