The city's first fire truck, purchased in 1948, is the centerpiece of this
museum. The 1923 American La France fire truck was used by the City of Dallas
first, then the City of Worth. Fully restored, the truck is dedicated to the
volunteer firefighters of the community. At the corner of Main and Oak streets.
