Gowns Of The First Ladies Of Texas

Features inaugural gowns worn by the wives of presidents of the Republic of Texas and state governors, as well as other dresses worn by the wives of two U.S. presidents and the wife of a vice president. Provides an urban oasis of art and nature in the Dallas Arts District. The center consists of a 54,000-square-foot building, designed by architect Renzo Piano, featuring the contemporary art collection, and a 2-acre sculpture garden created by landscape architect Peter Walker. The Nasher Collection is considered one of the foremost collections of contemporary 20th-century sculpture in the world, with more than 300 pieces.
