Ellison's Greenhouses

Ellison's is the only commercial wholesale greenhouse in the state that allows the public to tour its working operations. Five acres of greenhouses produce year-round crops of flowers and pick-your-own vegetables. Seasonally, half-acre greenhouses are filled with poinsettias, tulips, Easter lilies and hydrangeas. Host of the Poinsettia Celebration the weekend before Thanksgiving. Tours of the commercial greenhouses are available by appointment. Open 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Mon.–Fri. and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Sat.–Sun. Fee charged for tour. 2107 E. Stone St. 979/836-0084.
