The Corsicana Visitor Center

The Corsicana Visitor Center is housed in a restored 1895 railroad freight office at 301 S. Beaton St. It's the starting point of a walking tour of 27 downtown historic sites. Guide books available. Visitor information available outside the building after hours. Open 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Mon.–Sat. 877/648-2688. www.visitcorsicana.com.

Featured Attraction

This building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is the state's largest flat-floored opera house and features a raked stage and curtains painted as they were in 1886 during the venue's heyday.
