Barrington Living History Farm

This working farm is centered on the home of Dr. Anson Jones, the last president of the Republic of Texas. Using Dr. Jones' journals as a guide, the costumed staff re-create what life was like on a bustling 1850s cotton farm. In season, visitors can join the staff in planting, harvesting, plowing, washing clothes and other farm activities. Open 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m. daily. 936/878-2213.
