Built for Isaac Ellwood, the "Barbed-wire King," in 1900, it was sold to the
president of Diamond Match Co. who traded it for Texas Company (Texaco) stock
worth $10,000. The stock's value now would exceed hundreds of millions of
dollars. The house is on the National Register of Historic Places. Open 10
