Agricultural Heritage Center & Museum

Founded in 1986, this museum offers a tour through history. Exhibits showcase a wide variety of antique farm machinery, horse-drawn implements, woodworking and metalworking tools and turn-of-the-century household articles. Most items on display are donated by local families whose ancestors farmed, ranched and worked the frontiers of Boerne, Kendall County and the Texas Hill Country. Open 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Sat. Three authentic log cabins were restored and relocated just north of the town square. One was built by George Washington Guthrie, a veteran of the battle of San Jacinto and the Civil War.
