This one-room 1883 schoolhouse spent its first 93 years in a pasture. Building was moved in 1976 to Denton, then in 1993 moved to Pilot Point. One of very few remaining one-room school buildings, dedicated to providing living history, educational experience for 4th-grade students. Located one block off historic square on S. Washington St. Open Apr.–Oct., Sat. 1–3 p.m., other times by appointment; closed holidays. 940/686-5385 , 940/686-2165.
