Caprock Canyons Trailway is a great place for hiking, biking and horseback riding. The trailway runs 64¼ miles through Floyd, Briscoe and Hall Counties. It winds through cultivated fields of the Texas High Plains, drops into rugged canyons of the Caprock Escarpment and winds down into the famous Red River Valley. A unique feature along the trail near the escarpment is a 742-ft. abandoned railroad tunnel, which is on the National Register of Historic Places as one of only a few such tunnels in Texas. 806/455-1492.
